Has anybody been listening to Muttons in the morning on 98.7 recently?

they are really hilarious....everything from their retarded songs to their constant bickering makes me acutally prefer the DJ talk to the music...err..once in a while. As a duo, they really smash all other pretenders handsdown in the humour department.

In case u dunno, they are vernon a and justin ang.

There was an exceptionally sweet piece on air a few days ago.

The muttons proudly announced that they had a new segment on their show. Basically, they would offer to pass messages over da radio that you are too paiseh, too hum, too kok or wadever to tell the other person yourself. All you gotta do in sms in with your story for them to select you.

So anyway they chose this guy Shaun, and called him up on air. Shaun answered and told the Muttons that he has been secretly liking this girl Caroline who's his colleague at a telecoms company. Shaun said Caroline is really beautiful, intelligent, fun to be with and could the muttons please please tell her cos he's too scared. Anyway Shaun has a really nice radio friendly voice and sounds like a cool dude, totally unlike the typical koks who call in. At this point im thinking...shaun must already have a pretty good idea that caroline likes him back or he wont be doing this right.. wad's more he's already hum to begin with...

Okay..so the muttons bade shaun goodbye and proceeded to call up Caroline.

Muttons: hey caroline!!!!!!!!!! we are the Muttons in the morning from 987fm!!!!!

Caroline(sounding confused): orh....hello

Muttons: We have a message from your colleague shaun to pass to you!!! Do you know a Shaun Sim?

Caroline: ah? hmmm yes i do....

Muttons: So how do you find him?

Caroline: well he's a pretty decent chap...quite nice la.

Muttons: Ah! Thats good....cos you see.....Shaun... has...a Crush on you!! He says you are beautiful and smart and he thinks the world of you!

Caroline(sounding flustered): ..huh..are you sure?

Muttons: YES!!! so how ah he got chance anot?

Caroline: err...errr....ah..uh..mm...Do i have to say?

Muttons: Ya la..just say la..if its yes no need paiseh, Shaun would be so happy!! If its no just say too la.. get things straight!

Caroline: Okay. No.

Muttons: WAD!!!! why?! i mean...you said he's a nice guy wad...decent chap and all that...why no chance??

Caroline: er. cos he's ugly.

I think blogging is really lame.

However, i shall endeavour to continue because i know people out there actually want to read my posts...i am, after all a, Celebrity Prawn. Naturally, as a celeb, and as a prawn, i have my fair share of critics and hatesites too, but like a good xiaxue, i shall ignore them and concentrate on my fans.

recently, i caught an episode of a show blogtv, think its on CNA. I think that show is uber kok. They invite various teenage bloggers to come and spout witticisms on the show. The flying dutchman will question them or they get to question each other on stuff like: you are only 18 years old, wad kind of political experience gives you the right to blog about politics in singapore?
The answer that blogger gave was:
commenting on anything, right or wrong, is my right as a human being.

Orh...icic

and to add to the sianness of the show is the sian to the max dude FD. He should make some comments half way thru the show like: now how you like a chance to win a million bucks in cold, hard cash? Anyway, FD, if you happen to be reading this, don't worry man, you're sian, but you're a nice guy la.

WTF.

3 weeks into my ortho posting, i have clerked an awe-inspiring 2 patients, both for tutorials, and read an amazing 2 pages of my textbook. seriously, WTF is wrong with me? And during this 3 weeks, i have read eoin colfer's artemis fowl and the lost colony at least 3 times cover to cover. It's a children's book. seriously, WTF is wrong with me? and today, i spent 5 hours on the internet reading wikipedia entries about the evolution of rock history from the 60s-present. seriously......
